The tourism industry in Port Douglas is operating under Covid Safe Protocols. These varies from activity to industry, and individual tour and activity operators, food and beverage companies and hotels will all have posted policies, and we encourage you to understand them prior to arrival.
For ourselves as Dive Port Douglas ‐ Sales, Servicing and Support services are fully operation, however these are through our Covid Safe Protocols – non‐contact processes, such as our web portal, phone or digital services. Access to the offices and warehouse are restricted at this time to staff only – with no public access. But remember since 2009 we’ve offered free local delivery to your Hotel or Accommodation house.
Many guests are choosing to purchase their own key pieces of snorkelling or diving equipment, for themselves and their children, rather than use the tour operator hire stocks, which are of course being treated. You can check out our range here.
Where we are servicing equipment for customers (all servicing is done by the factory trained technician at our sister company Tech Dive) it, as it ALWAYS has been, is treated with Steramine™ prior to dispatch as part of our normal hygiene process and this will continue.
